Dr (TCM) Yiping Fang is a fully qualified and experienced doctor, and has been practising Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine for more than 30 years. She has earned a superb reputation in successfully treating a wide range of illnesses as a result of her long experience and reliable service.

Dr Fang graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor of Medicine (TCM) from the Traditional Chinese Medical Department, Hunan Traditional Chinese Medical University, Changsha, Hunan Province, China. This fulltime, five-year degree course included one year internship at two of the largest TCM hospitals in Hunan province.

After graduating from the Hunan TCM University, she practiced in Hunan hospital, and then was promoted to be the Head of the Department of Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine of the hospital. Dr Fang has been practising Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine in the UK since 1997. From 1997 to 2004, she was the Chinese Medical Consultant of the Chinese Community News magazine in Glasgow.

During 3/2006-6/2007, Dr Fang successfully completed an Approved Theoretical and Practical Training Course in Electro-Crystal Therapy in the Oldfield College, South Ruislip, London, and is now a Certified Practitioner (Certificate No. 0702) in this Discipline.

During 1989-1990, Dr Fang carried out one-year (fulltime) research on heart and blood vessel diseases in the Department of Heart and Blood Vessel of Wuhan Honshan Hospital, Hubei Province, China.

During 1986-1987, Dr Fang carried out one-year (fulltime) research on auricular acupuncture in the Department of Auricular Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medical Institution of Hunan Province, China.

During 1975-1977, Dr Fang completed a two-year fulltime course of TCM and Western Medicine in the Medical College of Shiangcheng County, Henan Province, obtained Diploma certificate.

In 1974, as a "barefoot" Doctor, Dr Fang started practising acupuncture, supervised/trained by a famous TCM doctor in Henan Province.
